Interim Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places 2018

Oadby & Wigston Borough Council is carrying out an interim review of its polling districts and polling places commencing on 13 April 2018. The consultation period will run for six weeks, ending on Friday 25 May 2018.

Review details

The Council has decided to review the polling arrangements in the Borough because of uncertainty about the long-term viability of some venues currently used, and to make sure that suitable and convenient polling arrangements are provided to local electors for the next local elections taking place in 2019.

How to respond the the consultation

Any comments, representations and alternative proposals are welcome in writing from all residents and organisations in the Borough. Elected representatives and political parties and are being consulted directly.

All representations must be received by no later than Friday 25 May 2018.
