To submit a new Planning application, we highly recommend using the Planning Portal's online submission system at https://www.planningportal.co.uk/.

Important - Pre-applications, Planning Applications, Planning Decision

We would like to apologise that there are currently delays in; the processing of planning applications; the deciding of planning applications; the processing of pre-applications; and, the feedback in relation to pre-applications. These unfortunate delays are due to the current high volume of applications being submitted to the Council.

If you are a customer that has seen delays with any of the above, the Council would like to thank you for being patience during this current situation.

If you have recently submitted an application to the Council for any of the above, the assigned Case Officer will be in touch with you as soon as practicably possible to discuss the application, therefore your patience would be really appreciated. However, if you submitted an application for any of the above, and the determination date is approaching, please do get in touch directly with the Case Officer to discuss.
