“Oadby and Wigston Borough Engaged” is the name of a new panel of borough residents who reflect the diversity of the Borough, and the views and opinions of local people.
The aim of the Panel, which is being established by Oadby and Wigston Borough Council, is to provide a platform through which residents' views on local services can be accurately gauged.
How will I be able to contribute?
Once you have signed up, you will be sent an invitation to fill in a survey and/or attend a focus group, where you will be asked for your opinions and suggestions on current services affecting the Borough and its residents.
Who can join the Citizens' Panel?
The Panel is currently looking to sign up around 1,000 people who live, work and study in the Borough of Oadby and Wigston.
Anyone can join the Citizens’ Panel if they live, work or study in the Borough. We are encouraging a wide cross-section of residents to join the panel in order to ensure we reflect the diverse culture of the Borough.
If you wish to register to join the Panel you will need to complete an online application form using the link above. In line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), your personal details will not be shared with third parties.
