Network Rail has begun the biggest programme of improvements to the Midland Main Line since its completion in 1870.
The next phase of the programme is to electrify and decarbonise the section of the line from Kettering to Wigston.
Network Rail has been holding events in areas that may be impacted by work (including in our borough) to electrify the line and writing directly to those who may be affected by the work.
A dedicated webpage has been set up to by Network Rail to offer further support and information to residents.
