A number of warm hubs are available in Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston – offering a place to go for free to keep warm during the winter months. Many offer refreshments and entertainment, and are run by kind and generous volunteers looking to support local people facing challenging times due to the Cost of Living crisis.
In many cases, Oadby & Wigston Borough Council has supported these community groups and organisations with a £500 grant to support their offer.
