We offer a variety of ways for you to pay your bills and invoices. The easiest way to pay for many of our services is to do it online.

Online payments

It's fast and secure and we accept most credit and debit cards.

You can pay for the following things online:

  • Council Tax
  • National non-domestic rates (business rates)
  • Housing rent
  • Sundry debtors invoices
  • Overpayment of Housing Benefit

Direct Debits

Thinking about setting up a direct debit for your Council Tax?

It is simple, quick and convenient. Choose from three payments dates (1st, 15th or 25th of the month) and whether you wish to have your Council Tax collected in 10 or 12 months.

Thinking about setting up a direct debit for your Rent Payments?

Please complete a Rents Direct Debit Mandate (Word Document, 218 Kb). This should be returned to our offices and you can choose to have your payments made on the 1st or the 15th of each month

Standing orders

You can pay your rent via standing order, please contact your Income Officer on 0116 288 8961 for further details

Cash payments

You can pay your council tax or rent at any Paypoint or Post Office. You will need to take your annual bill or rent statement to the cashier who will scan the barcode within the letter.
