This page contains information about the Developer Contributions Supplementary Planning Document, which was adopted on Tuesday, 13th December 2011, and its supporting documents.
The Developer Contributions Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) and the supporting Evidence Base for Open Space, Sport and Recreation (incorporating Green Infrastructure) provide applicants with information about the types of planning obligations that may be sought through a legal agreement to mitigate the impact of a development proposal in the borough. These documents were subject to a six week public consultation between Monday, 8th August 2011 and Monday, 19th September 2011. The Council considered all representations and implemented changes where appropriate, prior to adoption.
Please note: The figures in the table that implements a discount for Childrens and Young People's Space contribution has been amended in both documents (page 36 in Developer Contributions Supplementary Planning Document and page 13 in the Evidence Base document) to reflect the actual discount that will be applied as part of the formula. Please note that this update does not alter the methodology for which the contribution is calculated.
The table illustrated on page 37 of the Developer Contributions SPD and page 14 of the Evidence Base document is based on information contained within the review.
A copy of all representations received during the public consultation for the Supplementary Planning Document and the Council's response to these comments are included in the document below. Also available is the Adoption Statement and Consultation Statement for the SPD.
