On Tuesday 16th April 2019, Oadby and Wigston Borough Council resolved to adopt the new Local Plan Development Plan Document (Plan) at its Full Council meeting.
The Plan is the Council’s principal planning policy document and sets out the Vision, Spatial Objectives, Spatial Strategy and Planning Policies for development for the entire Borough area, for the period up to 2031. The Plan replaces the Council’s Saved Local Plan, Town Centres Area Action Plan and Core Strategy.
