Council housing

Alok Sharma is an MP and also the Minister of State for Housing and Planning and has set up an online questionnaire as he tries to gain an understanding of how there can be a more effective voice for social tenants. He's done this after an announcement by the Prime Miniter on 15 August following the Grenfell Tower tragedy which has in turn lead him to meet with social tenants across England to hear about issues and concerns regarding social housing.

If you are a tenant or one of their neighbours then you are warmly invited to complete the questionnaire at

The questionnaire closes on Wednesday 31 January 2018

Tenant survey 2017 - thank you to all those tenants who completed the 2017 tenant survey, results will be published shortly

These pages deal with all aspects of your Council tenancy including how to pay your rent, what to do if you find yourself in rent arrears, how to report anti-social behaviour, how to register for Council housing and how to apply for a mutual exchange.
