If you find that you are unable to meet your rent payments and you are experiencing financial difficulties, you should contact the Income Team immediately. Help and advice will be offered by our members of staff and they may be able to arrange a payment plan to reduce your arrears.

We understand that, from time to time, people may have difficulties meeting their rental payments. The council can and will help to ensure you have the support to keep your home. However, if you ignore the situation then action will be taken and your tenancy could be at risk.
